Recognizes the importance of jobs in the oil and natural gas industry to western Colorado and the positive economic and national security impacts this industry brings to Colorado and the United States.

Supports the development of the Jordan Cove LNG facility located in the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay, which would connect Colorado to new energy markets through the Ruby Pipeline originating in the Rocky Mountains.

Cites Colorado's sixth-place ranking in national natural gas production and notes that reduced production in western Colorado has resulted in job losses and economic depression for rural communities.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the Governor, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission chairman, and heads of oil and gas industry associations and Colorado's congressional delegation.
