Extends the right to use deadly physical force against intruders to include owners, managers, and employees of places of business, in addition to dwelling occupants.

Justifies use of any degree of physical force, including deadly force, when an unlawful entry occurs and the person believes the intruder committed or intends to commit a crime and might use physical force against occupants.

Provides immunity from criminal prosecution for owners, managers, and employees of businesses who use physical force in accordance with the bill's provisions.

Provides immunity from civil liability for injuries or death resulting from the use of such force by business owners, managers, and employees.

Updates section 18-1-705 to reference section 18-1-704.5 as an authorization for use of deadly force in defense of premises.
