Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 19-2-213 to allow members of the restorative justice coordinating council to be reimbursed for expenses incurred while serving on the council.

Changes current law that prohibited reimbursement by removing the restriction and replacing it with permissive language allowing reimbursement.

Members continue to serve without compensation, but may now receive reimbursement for expenses related to council service.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 9, 2017, if adjournment occurs May 10, 2017), subject to referendum petition and potential voter approval in November 2018.
