Excludes marijuana from the definition of "farm products" under Colorado Revised Statutes 12-16-103(5)(b), preventing marijuana from being regulated as a farm product under the Farm Products Act.

Defines "marijuana" as having the same meaning as set forth in Section 16(2)(f) of Article XVIII of the Colorado Constitution.

Takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the 90-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 9, 2017, if adjournment occurs May 10, 2017).

Subject to referendum petition; if challenged within the 90-day period, the act will not take effect unless approved by voters at the November 2018 general election.
