• Grants the manager authority to enforce all laws of the State of Colorado and permits certification by the P.O.S.T. Board.

• Provides the manager jurisdiction to act as a peace officer anywhere within Colorado in performance of official duties.

• Entitles the manager to all statutory protections, defenses, and immunities provided to peace officers performing official acts.

• Effective date is August 9, 2017, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case the act requires approval by voters in the November 2018 general election.
