Authorizes the State Historical Society to sell a cold storage facility located at 532 Golfers Way, Denver, Colorado 80230 on the former Lowry Air Force Base that was acquired in 1991 and is no longer needed.

Requires the State Controller to approve all agreements related to the property disposition prior to closing.

Directs all proceeds from the sale to the State Museum Cash Fund to be used for capital outlay, capital construction, or controlled maintenance at museums statewide.

Takes effect August 9, 2017, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case the measure requires approval by voters at the November 2018 general election to take effect.
