CO HB1332

Amends Colorado law to allow alternative teacher license holders to work in licensed nonpublic child care facilities or other preschool facilities as part of their one-year or two-year alternative teacher program.

Authorizes the State Board of Education to promulgate rules necessary to implement the expanded alternative teacher license requirements.

Effective date is August 9, 2017, or 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case approval by voters in November 2018 is required.
