Permits certain liquor licensees to allow customers to remove one sealed container of vinous liquor (maximum 750 milliliters) from the licensed premises.

Allows customers to reseal and remove one opened container of partially consumed vinous liquor purchased on premises, provided the originally sealed container did not exceed 750 milliliters.

Applies only to licensees described in subsection (2) of the amended statute section 12-47-421.

Takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 9, 2017, if adjournment sine die occurs on May 10, 2017).

Subject to referendum petition; if challenged, the act will not take effect unless approved by voters at the November 2018 general election.
