Amends Colorado Revised Statutes to clarify that municipal marshals and chiefs of police may employ certified peace officers to enforce all state laws, notwithstanding Section 16-2.5-201.

Modifies three statutory sections (31-4-112, 31-4-306, and 31-15-401) to add explicit language authorizing municipalities to employ certified peace officers for law enforcement.

Updates gender-neutral language throughout the affected statutes, replacing masculine pronouns with "or herself" and "or her" where applicable.

Applies retroactively, with the act effective before, on, and after its effective date.

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
