Repeals the July 1, 2017 repeal date for the Education Data Advisory Committee created under section 22-2-304, C.R.S., and extends the committee's authorization to July 1, 2022.

Adds new subsection (12.5) to section 2-3-1203 to establish July 1, 2022 as the new repeal date for the Education Data Advisory Committee's statutory authorization.

Amends section 22-2-304(6)(a) to change the committee's repeal effective date from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2022.

Specifies that subsection (12.5) itself will be repealed effective July 1, 2023, creating an automatic sunset of the sunset provision.

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
