Appropriates $43,570,138 to the legislative department for fiscal year 2017-18, comprised of $42,553,138 from the general fund, $90,000 from cash funds, and $927,000 from reappropriated funds.

Allocates $14,267,528 to the general assembly (66.0 FTE), $9,468,234 to the office of the state auditor (75.2 FTE), $1,793,686 to the joint budget committee (16.0 FTE), $8,862,899 to the legislative council (75.3 FTE), and $6,507,697 to the committee on legal services (54.4 FTE).

Provides $1,335,047 each from the general fund for PERA Amortization Equalization Disbursement and PERA Supplemental Amortization Equalization Disbursement.

Appropriates $25,000 to the youth advisory council cash fund from the general fund, with the legislative department responsible for accounting.

Anticipates approximately $197,000 in tax levy revenue on civil actions to offset expenses of statute revision by the office of legislative legal services during fiscal year 2017-18.
