Increases the maximum number of pharmacy technicians and interns a pharmacist may supervise from three to six persons in Colorado Revised Statutes 12-42.5-119.

Maintains the existing restriction that no more than two of the supervised persons may be pharmacy interns.

Requires that when three or more pharmacy technicians are on duty, the majority must be certified by a nationally recognized certification board, possess a degree from an accredited pharmacy technician training program, or have completed 500 hours of experiential training at the pharmacy within eighteen months of hire.

Takes effect August 9, 2017, subject to a ninety-day referendum petition period, with approval by voters at the November 2018 general election required if a petition is filed.
