• Authorizes the Colorado Children's Trust Fund board to spend trust fund money developing, promoting, maintaining, and monitoring an evidence-based or research-based child sexual abuse prevention training model.

• Makes the training model available to parents, child care providers, librarians, church staff and volunteers, medical professionals, family resource center staff, and other mandatory reporters of child abuse and neglect.

• Requires the voluntary child care credentialing system to award credit for education and training on child sexual abuse prevention, including understanding healthy child development, creating safe environments, recognizing signs of abuse, and responsible response methods.

• Expands grant eligibility under the trust fund to include programs providing evidence-based or research-based child sexual abuse prevention training models to prevent and reduce child sexual abuse.

• Appropriates $158,374 from the general fund to the Department of Human Services for fiscal year 2018-19 to implement the act through the Colorado Children's Trust Fund.
