Works Allocation Committee must submit annual recommendations for Colorado Long-Term Works Reserve use no later than August 31, 2018, and by June 30 each year thereafter to the Executive Director, Governor, and Joint Budget Committee.

Committee must consider expected reserves and Colorado Works Program needs over the next three fiscal years when developing recommendations.

State department-appointed members are not required to vote on the committee's annual recommendations; county-appointed members shall draft the recommendations.

Act takes effect August 8, 2018, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it takes effect upon approval by voters at the November 2018 general election.
