CO HB1210

Designates administrators of judicial security employed by the Colorado Judicial Department as peace officers with authority to enforce all state laws.

Requires administrators of judicial security to be certified by the P.O.S.T. Board (Peace Officer Standards and Training Board).

Adds new statute 16-2.5-152 to the Colorado Revised Statutes establishing the peace officer status and requirements.

Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
