• Requires medical marijuana testing facilities to obtain accreditation from a body recognized by the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation under ISO/IEC 17025:2005 standard (or subsequent standards) by January 1, 2019 to receive or maintain certification

• Allows the state licensing authority to grant extensions up to 12 months for newly licensed medical marijuana testing facilities or for good cause, including when accreditation applications are pending with recognized accrediting bodies

• Applies the same accreditation requirements to retail marijuana testing facilities by January 1, 2019 with identical extension provisions for newly licensed or facilities with good cause

• Designates testing of medical marijuana, marijuana-infused products, and marijuana concentrate—along with associated standards—as a matter of statewide concern

• Designates testing of retail marijuana, retail marijuana products, and retail marijuana concentrate—along with associated standards—as a matter of statewide concern
