Colorado established a Public Lands Day in 2016 and created an Outdoor Recreation Industry Office focused on economic development, conservation, education, workforce training, and health and wellness

The resolution requests the state continue support for the outdoor industry and public lands access, and requests the Governor affirm support for Colorado's outdoor recreation industry and public lands

A copy of the resolution is transmitted to Governor John Hickenlooper, the Outdoor Industry Association, Snowsports Industries America, and Emerald Expositions
