CO SB019

Expands the maximum loan duration from twenty years after project completion to allow extended terms for both water pollution control and drinking water revolving loan programs administered by the Colorado Water Resources and Power Development Authority.

Modifies the "clean water act" definition in statute to reference the act "as amended" rather than limiting the definition to amendments as of April 4, 1988.

Allows loan terms for water pollution control revolving fund loans to be extended beyond twenty years when agreed upon by the authority and borrower and in compliance with the Clean Water Act.

Allows loan terms for drinking water revolving fund loans to exceed twenty years when agreed upon by the authority and borrower, with extended terms permitted when funded by United States grants in accordance with the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Takes effect August 8, 2018, and applies only to loans made on or after the effective date.
