Senate Bill 18-101 Summary

• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes to modify admission standards for Colorado State University - Global Campus, an online university serving nontraditional students in partnership with the Colorado community college system.

• Establishes moderately selective admission standards for baccalaureate degree students residing in Colorado at CSU Global Campus.

• Prohibits CSU Global Campus from admitting first-time freshman baccalaureate students who reside in Colorado and are under twenty-three years of age.

• Requires CSU Global Campus to comply with all applicable statutes and rules.

• Takes effect August 8, 2018, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it requires voter approval at the November 2018 general election to take effect.
