Increases daily compensation for trial and grand jurors from a fixed $50 per day to a rate calculated as ($1.00 + state minimum hourly wage) × 8 hours, effective September 1, 2018.

Applies the new compensation rate to all juror payment provisions, including compensation for regularly employed jurors during the first three days of service, reimbursement for unemployed jurors, and compensation for jurors serving beyond three days.

Defines "state minimum hourly wage" as the amount established under Section 15 of Article XVIII of the state constitution in effect at the time of juror service, ensuring compensation adjusts automatically with minimum wage increases.

Makes minor statutory revisions to update language from "shall" to "must" and "shall include" to "includes" throughout related statutes.

Subject to referendum petition; if challenged, becomes effective only upon voter approval at the November 2018 general election.
