Requires the state board of licensure for architects, professional engineers, and professional land surveyors to adopt rules establishing continuing education requirements for professional land surveyors by December 31, 2019.

Rules must require professional land surveyors to complete board-approved continuing education sufficient to maintain competency in order to renew an active license to practice land surveying on or after July 1, 2021.

Act takes effect August 2, 2019, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case it requires approval by voters at the November 2020 general election before taking effect.
