• Increases the default entryway smoking radius from 15 feet to 25 feet for building entrances, with local authority flexibility to specify different radii under certain conditions.

• Establishes new requirements for cigar-tobacco bars and retail tobacco businesses to prohibit entry to anyone under 18 years of age and display warning signage; provides affirmative defense against fines for businesses with documented age-verification policies.

• Takes effect July 1, 2019, except signage requirements for cigar bars and retail tobacco businesses, which take effect October 1, 2019.
