• Advanced practice nurses with prescriptive authority under Colorado law may obtain Level I accreditation to receive 100 percent reimbursement under the workers' compensation medical fee schedule.

• Only physicians licensed under the Colorado Medical Practice Act retain authority to determine whether permanent medical impairment has resulted from an injury or whether a claimant has attained maximum medical improvement.

• The bill takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the 90-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 2, 2019, if adjournment is May 3, 2019).

• If a referendum petition is filed within the 90-day period, the bill takes effect only if approved by voters at the November 2020 general election.
