House Bill 19-1209 Summary

• Repeals Colorado Revised Statutes section 24-46.6-103, eliminating aeronautical reporting requirements that were previously mandated.

• Removes language requiring entities establishing new business facilities or operations to file reports under the repealed section 24-46.6-103.

• Eliminates references to monetary penalties collected under section 24-46.6-103 as a continuous appropriation to the division for administrative expenses.

• Updates the Aviation Fund statute (43-10-109) to remove references to revenues from the repealed reporting section, keeping only revenues from section 39-27-112.

• Takes effect August 2, 2019, unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case approval by voters in the November 2020 general election would be required.
