Allows people with disabilities to voluntarily place a discreet disability identifier symbol on their Colorado driver's license or identification card at no charge.

Requires applicant to present a form signed by an eligible medical professional (physician, psychiatrist, neurologist, physician assistant, podiatrist, advanced practice nurse, physical therapist, naturopathic doctor, psychologist, or armed forces medical officer) verifying the applicant has a disability, chronic illness, or pain.

Symbol must be discreet and represent all types of disabilities including cognitive, neurological, and physical disabilities.

Applicants need not provide updated documentation when renewing or being reissued a license or identification card bearing the disability symbol.

Disability status or symbol will not be stored in the electronic information on the license or card, only displayed on the physical face of the document.
