• Colorado Community College System's chief administrative officer must create a working group to determine how to transfer construction industry registered apprenticeship program credits to college credits.

• Working group must include representatives from community colleges, technical schools, four-year institutions, union and non-union labor organizations, and other interested parties, meeting during the interim following the 2019 legislative session.

• Working group shall consider aligning apprenticeship curriculum with college courses, potential for apprenticeships to count toward associate or bachelor degrees, clarifying differences between apprenticeships and work-study programs, and feasibility of all colleges offering apprenticeships.

• Working group must submit recommendations to the General Assembly by December 31, 2019, including any necessary legislation.

• $30,000 appropriated for fiscal year 2019-20 ($15,000 from general fund, $15,000 from reappropriated fee-for-service contract funds) to support the working group's operations.
