Honors Marilyn Eddins on her retirement after nearly 40 years of service to the Colorado House of Representatives, beginning December 13, 1982, as an Assistant Enrolling Clerk.

Recognizes her career progression from Journal Clerk (1988) to Assistant Chief Clerk (1999) to Chief Clerk (2004), serving 15 years in the latter position across seven different House Speakers.

Acknowledges her extensive contributions including serving on the Legislative Emergency Preparedness Committee, developing disability access policies, leading Capitol Building restoration projects, and chairing multiple committees of the American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries (ASLCS), which awarded her the 2015 Legislative Staff Achievement Award.

Lauds her leadership on the six-year restoration and renovation project of the House Chamber, committee rooms, Old State Library, and Old Supreme Court Chamber, including restoration of original wall stenciling and the House chandelier.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Marilyn Eddins and her daughter Tiffany Trevenen.
