Authorizes counties to cremate unclaimed dead bodies or use any lawful method of final disposition, expanding beyond the previous requirement of burial only.

Defines "final disposition" as any lawful method, including burial or cremation, of disposing of a dead human body.

Extends the notification timeline for unclaimed bodies from 24 hours to 5 days before the anatomical board must be notified, with a 48-hour extension for counties more than 150 miles from accredited medical or dental schools.

Harmonizes related statutes in Colorado law (sections 26-2-129, 30-10-618, and 30-17-104) to reference Part 3 of Article 19 of Title 15 and align language regarding final disposition of unclaimed bodies.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 2, 2019), unless subject to a successful referendum petition requiring approval at the November 2020 general election.
