Repeals Article 35 of Title 25 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, which established the Colorado Cancer Drug Repository Program.

The program allowed donation of unused cancer drugs and medical devices from cancer patients to uninsured and underinsured cancer patients through health care facilities, medical clinics, and pharmacies.

The General Assembly determined the statutory provisions were duplicative of another program within the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

Effective date is August 2, 2019 (or 90 days after final adjournment), unless a referendum petition is filed, in which case approval by voters at the November 2020 general election is required.

Repeal does not alter the scope or applicability of remaining statutes related to health care facilities, medical clinics, or pharmacies.
