SB 19-118: Supplemental Appropriation to Department of Military and Veterans Affairs

• Appropriates $231,939,272 total for the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018, comprising $11,025,704 from the General Fund, $1,203,530 from cash funds, and $219,710,038 from federal funds.

• Amends Part XIII of HB 18-1322 to provide supplemental funding for Executive Director and Army National Guard operations, Division of Veterans Affairs programs, Air National Guard operations, and federal funded programs.

• Increases appropriation to Division of Veterans Affairs for the Grand Junction veterans one-stop center from $123,465 to $180,890 for fiscal year 2018-19, based on an assumption of an additional 1.1 FTE.

• Authorizes the Department to transfer General Fund appropriations between Operating Expenses and Vehicle Lease Payments line items to address changes in federal cost-sharing for vehicle lease payments.

• Includes a safety clause finding the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
