SB 19-122 Summary

• Amends Session Laws of Colorado 2018, chapter 424 (HB 18-1322) to make supplemental appropriations to the Department of Regulatory Agencies for fiscal year beginning July 1, 2018.

• Total appropriation of $99,162,135 across 11 divisions and offices, including $1,941,431 from the General Fund and $90,759,586 from various cash funds.

• Allocates funding for personnel, operating expenses, and program costs across divisions including Banking, Civil Rights, Insurance, Public Utilities Commission, Real Estate, Professions and Occupations, and Securities.

• Designates $6,500,000 for Public Utilities Commission Rural Broadband program with intent that funds be spent in rural Colorado.

• Includes safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
