• Continues the Colorado State Board of Chiropractic Examiners by extending its sunset date from July 1, 2020 to September 1, 2029, implementing recommendations from the 2019 Department of Regulatory Agencies sunset report.

• Increases continuing education requirements for licensed chiropractors from 15 hours annually to 30 hours every two years.

• Removes the separate "alcohol use disorder" disciplinary ground and consolidates substance use violations into a single category covering habitual or excessive use of alcohol, controlled substances, or habit-forming drugs.

• Adds new discipline provisions requiring chiropractors to notify the board of physical illnesses, physical conditions, or behavioral health or mental health disorders that impair their ability to practice safely, and establishes confidential practice limitation agreements under specified conditions.

• Creates a new framework allowing chiropractic students at board-approved schools to perform chiropractic services under direct supervision of a licensed chiropractor with signed patient consent, and requires the board to promulgate related rules.
