Adds $1,500 income line to child support guidelines schedule and clarifies calculations for parents with gross income below $1,500 per month

Reduces interest rate on unpaid child support from 4% above statutory rate to 2% above statutory rate, effective July 1, 2020, and establishes 63-day statute of limitations for requesting interest after child emancipation

Eliminates outdated income assignment provisions, requires employers to report and withhold from lump sum payments, and clarifies notice requirements for income assignments in compliance with federal law

Allows both dependency/neglect and paternity/child support courts concurrent jurisdiction to determine parent-child legal relationships, removes income limitation on support increase orders, requires life insurance settlement reporting, and adds contract employees to state directory of new hires
