Eliminates the requirement for service agencies to report on how they used funding from reimbursement rate increases for direct support professionals for fiscal years 2019-20 and 2020-21.

Replaces "reporting" language with "tracking" to shift from formal reporting deadlines to ongoing discretionary information requests by the state department.

Changes the timeframe for state department notification of fund recoupment from "within one year after the close of each reporting period" to "within one year after the end of each fiscal year."

Maintains the three-year record retention requirement for service agencies to keep books, documents, accounting records, and payroll information supporting compensation increases.

Allows the state department ongoing discretion to request information from service agencies about how they maintained compensation increases beyond the initial three-year period.
