• Establishes Class A traffic infraction (penalty $70, surcharge $10) for failing to yield to a bicyclist in a bicycle lane.

• Elevates violation to careless driving charge if driver's failure to yield causes a crash or bodily injury to another person, with enhanced penalties.

• Assigns 4 driver's license points for failure to yield to a bicyclist in a bicycle lane that causes bodily injury, effective July 1, 2020.
