Prohibits employers in Colorado from taking adverse action against employees or job applicants based on immunization status, including refusal to hire, discharge, demotion, harassment, or discrimination in compensation and employment terms.

Applies to all employers transacting business in Colorado and specifically includes licensed health facilities, which are prohibited from requiring vaccination as a condition of employment.

Allows aggrieved employees to file civil actions seeking injunctive relief, reinstatement or hiring, back pay with lost benefits and up to 10 percent interest, and other equitable relief.

Courts may award punitive damages if the employer acted with malice or willful and wanton misconduct, or if previously adjudicated for violations, plus attorney fees and costs.

Takes effect July 1, 2020.
