Designates February 4 of each year as "Missing Persons Day" in Colorado to raise awareness about missing persons and support families affected by disappearances.

Recognizes the critical role of public awareness, media, and law enforcement in locating missing persons, including the success of the AMBER Alert program which has recovered 977 children nationally since 1996.

Addresses the misconception that a person must be absent for 24 hours before being classified as missing, emphasizing that investigations should begin promptly when evidence of violence or unusual absence exists.

Acknowledges 155 active missing child cases in Colorado and lists hundreds of currently missing Coloradans by name to honor them and their families.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to victim advocacy organizations including Voices of Victims, FOHVAMP, Colorado Victims for Justice, COVA, and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
