Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 18-3-207 to expand the definition of criminal extortion to include threatening to report someone's immigration status to law enforcement.

Creates criminal liability when a person threatens to report immigration status with intent to induce another person against their will to perform an act or refrain from performing a lawful act.

Applies existing extortion protections to scenarios involving money or items of value, as well as actions or inactions related to lawful conduct.

Takes effect July 1, 2021, and applies to offenses committed on or after that date.

Declared necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
