• Establishes "Isaiah's Law" to protect students participating in online instruction delivered by local education providers (school districts, cooperative services boards, charter schools, and institute charter schools).

• Prohibits local education providers from preventing parents from being in the same room as students during online instruction, except when a parent's disruptive behavior continues after being asked to stop.

• Prohibits requiring students to use cameras for live video if their technology does not support it.

• Prohibits suspending or expelling students based on items observed in their physical environment or behavior during online instruction, except for standard suspension/expulsion grounds under existing law.

• Requires schools to revoke and expunge any suspensions or expulsions issued on or after March 23, 2020, that violated these online instruction protections, and clarifies that students' private residences are not educational institution premises for interference law purposes.
