CO HB1074

Establishes civil immunity for entities that attempt in good faith to comply with applicable COVID-19 public health guidelines issued by the governor, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, or other government agencies.

Immunity applies to any act or omission resulting in exposure, loss, damage, injury, or death arising from COVID-19, except for cases involving gross negligence or willful and wanton conduct.

"Entity" includes individuals, corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, religious organizations, businesses, partnerships, and other legal entities.

Does not abrogate or limit any existing immunities already granted to entities.

Automatically repeals two years after the governor or General Assembly terminates the state of disaster emergency declared on March 11, 2020.
