Adds new subsection (2.9) to Colorado Revised Statutes 6-1-113 specifying remedies available in certified class actions under the Colorado Consumer Protection Act.

Successful plaintiffs in class actions may recover actual damages, injunctive relief allowed by law, and reasonable attorney fees and costs.

Act takes effect 12:01 a.m. on the day following the expiration of the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly.

If a referendum petition is filed within the ninety-day period, the act will not take effect unless approved by voters at the November 2022 general election.
