Members of state, county, and district boards of health must attend annual public health training provided by the Department of Public Health and Environment developed in collaboration with the Colorado School of Public Health.

Members of state, county, and district boards of health must attend annual training developed by the Department of Public Health and Environment and the Director of the Office of Emergency Management on the board's role in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergency disasters.

The Department of Public Health and Environment shall provide guidance in electronic format on recruiting eligible and willing persons to serve on county and district boards of health to any requesting board of county commissioners, county board of health, or district board of health.

Changes made by this bill take effect January 1, 2022.
