Authorizes physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses with prescriptive authority, and pharmacists to prescribe and dispense FDA-approved therapeutic drugs for off-label use to treat COVID-19, including hydroxychloroquine sulfate and ivermectin.

Permits off-label drug use for COVID-19 prophylaxis (without requiring suspected virus exposure), at-home outpatient treatment (without requiring a COVID-19 test), and hospital inpatient treatment.

Requires patient informed consent and a prescription drug order for off-label drug dispensing.

Declares that prescribing or dispensing in compliance with this act is not unprofessional conduct and prohibits regulators from initiating investigations or disciplinary action against providers who comply with the law.

Applies to conduct occurring on or after the effective date of the act.
