Extends the sales and use tax exemption for wood products from trees killed or infested by mountain pine beetles or spruce beetles in Colorado through fiscal year 2026.

Exemption applies to lumber, furniture, wood chips, and wood pellets made from salvaged beetle-killed trees and is exempt from Colorado sales and use taxes.

Adds a new exemption period for fiscal years commencing July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2026, in addition to the existing exemption period from July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2020.

Repeals the exemption effective July 1, 2027, unless further legislative action extends it.

Declares the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
