Amends Colorado Revised Statutes 26-2-129 to clarify definitions for reimbursement of funeral, burial, and cremation expenses for eligible assistance recipients.

Defines "decedent" as a deceased recipient of or applicant for public assistance or medical assistance who was receiving or eligible to receive benefits at the time of death.

Defines "medical assistance" as payments to eligible recipients enrolled in Colorado's medical assistance program established in Articles 4, 5, and 6 of Title 25.5, funded through Title XIX of the federal Social Security Act.

Defines "public assistance" as payments to eligible recipients of old age pensions, Colorado Works program, aid to the needy disabled, aid to the blind, and home care allowance programs.

Declares the act necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, or safety.
