House Bill 21-1278 Summary

• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes Section 32-1-903 to allow special district boards to hold meetings at physical locations, telephonically, electronically, or by other virtual means, with "location" defined to include any of these methods.

• Validates and ratifies all meetings conducted by telephone, electronic, or virtual means prior to this law's effective date, preventing legal challenges to those meetings.

• Declares the act necessary for immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety.
