Allows county assessors to mail abbreviated notices of valuation on postcards instead of the standard two-page form, with property tax administrator approval of the postcard format.

Postcard notices must include an accurate summary of valuation information, assessor's office contact information, a website link to access the full notice of valuation online, and a statement that taxpayers can request to receive the long-form notice by mail instead.

Taxpayers may request to stop receiving postcard notices and request the full long-form notice of valuation be mailed in an envelope, and assessors must comply with such requests.

Failure of a taxpayer to receive the postcard notice does not prevent tax collection by the treasurer.

Applies to notices of valuation required to be mailed on or before May 1, 2021.
