• Requires the state department to solicit proposals from community-based diaper banks, public health agencies, or nonprofits with 3+ years experience within 30 days, with selected centers operational within 30 days of contract execution.

• Mandates annual reporting on the number of contracted distribution centers, funds awarded, locations served, and total eligible individuals receiving diapering essentials, disaggregated by month.

• Appropriates an additional $5,000,000 from the economic recovery and relief cash fund for fiscal year 2021-22 to expand the existing food pantry assistance grant program to address food insecurity caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
