Mandates carriers complete the credentialing process for physicians within 60 calendar days of receiving a completed application and provide written notice of the outcome within 10 calendar days.

Automatically deems physicians as participating network providers effective no later than 53 days after application if carriers fail to provide required receipt notice within 7 days.

Prohibits carriers from denying claims for medically necessary covered services provided by participating physicians who have completed the credentialing process.

Requires carriers to publish credentialing policies, application requirements, materials checklists, and designated contact information on their websites and allows carriers complying with equivalent or higher-standard delegated agreements or credentialing alliances to satisfy these requirements.
