CO SB155

Requires the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission to prioritize appointing at least one member who is a registered elector from Gilpin County or Teller County, where limited gaming takes place.

Allows commission members serving as registered electors of Gilpin or Teller County to reside in the same congressional district as other members, which would otherwise violate the one-member-per-district rule.

Permits commission members from Gilpin or Teller County to live in Central, Black Hawk, or Cripple Creek and own residential property in those cities, exempting them from standard conflict-of-interest restrictions.

Authorizes registered elector members from Gilpin or Teller County to be employed in professions otherwise restricted for commission members, including law enforcement, law, accounting, and business management.

Takes effect 90 days after final adjournment of the general assembly, subject to referendum petition by voters as of November 2022.
